Sharing robotics experiences with 5 years old children

Members of the Robotics Lab at the Carlos III University of Madrid in collaboration with the RoboCity2030 consortium from Madrid has carried out this morning a disseminating and motivational experience in the area of robotics with children 5 years in the Public School Machado Antonio Collado Villalba .rnThis experience is framed in the collaboration of this consortium with HispaRob and Cero en Conducta platform and is related with the upcoming European Robotics Week and its activities in educational robotics.rnThe children have enjoyed the explanations and demonstrations of Raul Pérula and Felix Rodriguez Cañadillas the Robotics Lab UC3M and members of the robotics association ASROB-UC3M. Then they have experienced with basics of robot programming with Beebots provided for the occasion by SESA Electronic Systems. The experience has been guided by the teacher of this center and ICT education expert and Marta Reina.rn
