Conference “Intelligent robotics in the challenges of health and care”

On 22 March, the conference La robótica inteligente en los retos de salud y asistenciales (Intelligent robotics in the challenges of health and care) will take place. The opening will be carried out by Ana Isabel Cremades Rodríguez, General Director of Research and Technological Innovation of the Community of Madrid and Paloma Díaz, Director of the Polytechnic School, UC3M. The full-day conference includes a morning part related to these challenges in the framework of our programme (RoboCity2030-DIH-CM) and in the afternoon it will deal with the symmetric human-robot interaction in care tasks (in the framework of the synergic project of the Community of Madrid COMPANION-CM).

There will be two invited speakers in the programme:

11:45 - Franko Hržić (ADRIA EDIH, Croatia), AI techniques in paediatric radiology.

16:45 - Anna Belardinelli (Honda Research Institute Europe), Action in the eye of the beholder: what the gaze reveals about intentions and how it can be used.
